Most people don’t begin to think about bed bugs until their house is crawling with them. By then, the problem can become so overwhelming that you don’t know where to start. Bed bug eggs can be found in lots of different places like mattress seams and tufts, crevices and cracks in furniture and the baseboards of walls. These pests can be very itchy and the bites can lead to small welts their victim’s body.

There are lots of different ways to get rid of bed bugs. The most hands-off thing to do is to call a professional exterminator, but there are other methods you can do yourself.

2. Put all infested fabrics in bags and then launder them (120°F minimum). Bed bugs hate the heat, so this is a very affective way to kill them quickly. However, it can take a lot of time to launder everything in your house.
